Part of our mission at Classic Act is to ensure the equipment and attachments we sell add real value to your work - whether it means working more efficiently, with more power, or with less downtime. We use machines and tools to save time and make work easier. Part of this equation includes the cost to you, both the cost of purchase and the extended cost of ownership.
We spend many hours doing comparative research within a 300 mile radius to ensure we are offering a good value for the dollar. Make, model, year, condition, hours, and options are all factors that go into our appraisal. Some sellers prefer playing the cat-and-mouse game of setting the prices artificially high with the intention of creating the illusion of a good deal through haggling, often leaving the customer paying more than the seller's bottom line depending on negotiating skills. We start right off with the best price for the equipment / implements that we can offer. This allows the consistency to sell quality machines and tools typically at the lowest prices available. EVERYONE gets a good deal.
We do our best to keep our website and Craigslist posts up do date to ensure what is advertised is inventory we have in stock and ready to be purchased. No waiting for factory lead time or a manufacturer's shipment.
New Jersey Sales Tax (6.625%)
We do it by the book. 99% of our customers appreciate this. Transactions are done legally with an official bill of sale receipt provided, proving ownership and the availability for write-off. There are a few exemptions from NJ sales tax with proper verification, ie - a registered farm purchasing for agricultural use, a dealer buying for resale, or a unit being shipped out of New Jersey by an out of state purchaser with a registered shipper providing a bill of lading.
We do accept credit cards on New Equipment, as well as Paypal payments on what is available through our website. For new inventory purchased on location in cash, we can offer a 3% discount to reflect the processing fee we do not have to incur.
